Kokoroko at Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre

Kokoroko joins Leon Bridges for a Charlotte concert on July 16, 2027, at Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre. The London-based ensemble brings a distinctive blend of Afrobeat, jazz, and soul, shaped by West African musical traditions and the contemporary London jazz scene. Its brass-led arrangements and rhythmic, ensemble-focused sound have earned the group an international following.

Kokoroko first drew wide attention with its 2019 single “Abusey Junction,” a mellow, horn-rich track that became a defining introduction to the band's style. The group's releases include the EP Kokoroko and the album Could We Be More, which moves between soulful vocals, intricate percussion, and warm jazz textures. With Leon Bridges on the bill, the evening pairs Kokoroko's expansive grooves with the acclaimed singer's modern soul sound. Prices currently start around $40, with final costs depending on availability and seating.

For Charlotte audiences, the outdoor amphitheatre setting offers a fitting backdrop for a summer night of jazz and soul. The event is listed on ticketscharlotte.net under Charlotte Concerts and R&B / Soul, with Kokoroko performing at Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre on July 16, 2027.
